We created the authentic surroundings for fantastic experiences on Ærø and have even expanded our service offers, to now also include one of the iconic beach houses on Vester beach.

The newly renovated rooms have all been refurbished with attention to detail.
Designed for immersion, relaxation, coziness and quality.
Each with its own style and with its own touch of history with quality furniture from 200 years of European furniture design and craftsmanship.
Stay in the setting that has inspired artists, filmmakers and thinkers for the past 235 years without compromising on standard, experience and comfort. Some of the rooms have sea views, others are in the garden and some again charmingly located in by the iconic streets of Ærøskøbing. BREAKFAST

The aroma of freshly baked bread, buns and freshly brewed coffee is what meets our guests every morning. Our breakfast products are carefully selected, the buns are home-baked and the jam is made just 5 meters from where it is served.
With attention to detail and local ingredients, breakfast is served either in the garden or in our living rooms exactly when our guests want it.
We take great pleasure in providing a dining experience from the heart, so that our guests start the day, full of all that is good.

SERVICE & FACILITIES

Vestergade 44 offers all our overnight guests a wide range of services all designed and selected to give our guests the absolute experience of our lovely house and of the island of Ærø. In addition to our special breakfast with ingredients selected by some of Denmark's leading quality ambassadors, we pamper our guests with organic bath products, world-class Danish quality chocolate, and amazing hospitality.

Our rooms all have wifi but no tv. On the other hand, we have fluffy bathrobes, slippers and peace of mind for contemplation and quiet moments.

Through close collaborations, we can provide everything from local guides to bicycles and are happy to share our unique local knowledge with good tips for unique experiences on our beloved Ærø.
